Jerry was a member of the Big Valley Brethren in Christ Church and a former member of the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church, where he served on the church board. He had a servant’s heart and could frequently be found helping other people or serving the church in some way. He loved spending time with family, woodworking, and painting. He worked at Penn State University for 38 years in Housing and Food Services, retiring in 1991. He then worked at Weis Markets in Bellefonte. After he and Frances moved to Belleville, Jerry volunteered at Valley View Haven where he spent many hours painting. In more recent years, he took pride in caring for Frances.
