Kandy L. (Jones) Johns, 62, of Belleville, passed away at 4:37 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Oct. 28, 1958 in Greenville, S.C., she is a daughter of Raymond Jones of Burgaw, NC and the late Gloria Dean (Jones) Jones. On Sept.10, 2003, she married Ken R. Johns, who resides in Belleville.
Surviving are: her children, Bridgette Gardner & husband Christian of Wilmington, N.C. and Jason Scruggs & wife Erin also of Wilmington, N.C., a granddaughter, Ember, a step-grandson, Ian, a brother, Bryan Jones of Burgaw, NC and a sister, Tracy Jones also of Burgaw, N.C. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Jones.
Kandy worked as a waitress and locally she would’ve been seen serving at Duffy’s Tavern and Richie’s OIP. She had a servant’s heart, not only as her profession but in her everyday life. She had an infectious laugh and lots of southern charm. She will be dearly missed.
Kandy was a member of the Milroy American Legion, Post #287 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing with her husband, and taking care of her vegetable and flower gardens.
Per her wishes, there will be no services at this time.

KEN, KANDY WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON. SHE COULD MAKE ANYONE SMILE AND LAUGH AND THAT IS A GREAT GIFT. I PRAY GOD'S BLESSINGS, COMFORT, AND PEACE, ON YOU AT THE LOSE OF YOUR WIFE. SHE WILL BE MISSED. BLESSINGS ON YOU AND THE FAMILY.
