Kimberly A. Brown, 64 of 11622 Brown Road, Mill Creek, PA, passed away at home on Sunday, January 28, 2024.


She was born on April 27, 1959 in Huntingdon to the late George G. Morningstar and Shirley Mae (Hetrick) Morningstar-Treece of James Creek, PA.  On January 5, 1985, she married John S. Brown, who survives at home.


In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by sons: Steven Brown of Mill Creek, Timothy Brown and wife Amanda of New Jersey, Phillip Brown of Mill Creek, Titus Brown and wife Charlotte of Huntingdon; three grandchildren: Emmaline Brown, Evelyn Brown and Olivia Brown; siblings: Cheryl Russell and husband Jeff of James Creek and Raymond “Pud” Morningstar and wife Lori of Entriken.


She graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1978 and worked at the Woodcock Valley Branch of Penn Central National Bank for five years.  She was primarily a homemaker and mother.


She was a member of the Allensville Community Church and had previously attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon, PA, and a ladies Bible study for a number of years.


She had been disabled for over 20 years.  In her earlier years, she enjoyed going to the beach with her family.  She enjoyed looking out the windows and keeping up with what was going on.  Most recently, she liked watching Hallmark movies.  She looked forward to family gatherings.


A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Allensville Community Church, 126 East Main Street, Allensville, PA, with Pastors Tyler Covert and George “Buddy” Baird officiating.  A visitation will take place from 9:30 – 11 a.m. prior to the service.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at the John Brown Cemetery, Mill Creek PA.

My condolences. Aunt Kim was so loving, and fun. I always enjoyed being around her. I loved that she came to my wedding. I send my condlences. She will be missed greatly. I will keep her and you, Uncle John and family in my prayers.
