We are saddened to hear of Sam's passing, but rejoice knowing he knows Jesus and because of the example he has set that many, many more know Him as well. During Oshkosh 2021, my father, brother, son and I were invited to stop by and join Daryl, Sam and the family for dinner at the campsite. To say we were welcomed is an understatement. Later that evening we watched in amazement as Sam did several touch and go demonstrations at the STOL runway in the Hummel Bird. We enjoyed it immensely and one of my favorite memories is seeing Sam hand-walk the airplane back to its parking spot that evening. Below is a picture of him doing just that…

Sam Peachey, a man aptly identified by the scriptural phrase, "a mighty man of valor" by his personal influence and leadership, made it for me forever a high honor to be just one of his many friends.

I morn his untimely death.

May The Lord console his family,
